Man Caught With Metal Knuckles, 40 Grams Of Pot In Westchester, Police Say

Police have arrested a man who was allegedly caught with metal knuckles as well as a large amount of marijuana.

Solomon P. Duncan, 22, of New York City, was a passenger in a vehicle driving on Nepperhan Avenue in the city of Yonkers on Tuesday, Dec. 18 around 12:50 a.m. when New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks conducted a traffic stop due to a violation.

Further police investigation revealed that Duncan was allegedly in possession of a pair of illegal metal knuckles as well as approximately 40 grams of marijuana.

Duncan was arrested and issued an appearance ticket for the following charges:

  • Criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, a Class A misdemeanor
  • Criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree, a Class B misdemeanor

Duncan is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, Jan. 7.
